I purchased a 1988 24 offshore. I’m restoring it and cannot find where the fresh water tank is or where to fill it. I have 2 fill ports but are not labeled. Any old salts knowledge is appropriated

Google search grady white owners manual. Grady archived the older model manuals online via a pdf file. They have the hose routing and wire diagrams.

Tank should be in bottom rear floor area in the cabin I believe. My 1984 sailfish has it there.

The user manual for 1984 Offshore 24 doesn't show a fresh water tank. Nor does it show a second gas tank. The brochure lists a 55 gallon aux tank as an option. If you have a secong fuel tank, I would expect the two fills to be near each other but it it simple to check. Pull the deck plates and look for two senders and sets of hoses. (in different deck openings)

I didn't see an option for fresh water washdown. Is there a sink in the cabin?

First, are you sure you have a fresh water tank? If you have two fills, they could very well be for two gas tanks. Being unlabelled means they were likely changed somewhere along the line. At 30+ years old there could have been MANY changes to the boat by previous owners.

If you're sure you have a fresh water tank, look for removable deck plates that screw out/pop out to access the fill.

Thank u. I did see what I thought was a bilge with a level float in the floor of the bow. I will research further.
