I have a 2013 Canyon 283, just bought the casting platform insert through Grady Dealer. Problem is not sure on the hardware location, anyone have a picture of the hardware location? I see the spot on the platform itself but not sure where latches go.

Sorry but I don't even know what a casting platform is!

I'd be onto Grady for that one. They should have supplied the installation instructions. You more than paid for them!

I believe it is the insert to fill in between the 2 bow seats.

What i'm looking for is a picture of the dead bolt placement underneath to see where to screw them. Is that how yours are held in place? With 4 deadbolts underneath to remove the platforms if you wanted to take them out and run without them? Can you show me a pic of the bottom and where they latch to? Thanks a lot, appreciate you taking time to send me a pic.

Sorry, not my boat. I posted a pic in response to Hookup not knowing what a casting deck was in the post above mine.

That was my next call, thanks
DaveD, I’m about to order a bow casting platform/cushion for my Freedom 215. I’m curious if you figured out the hardware install and if it is even needed at all. It looks like the platform will fit snugly in the bow and any slipping would be prevented by how the lids on the bow coolers are shaped.
