Has anyone done flush mount electronics on a 1993-1996 Adventure 208? I am considering this, but I can only find examples on 1997 and newer which have a different helm configuration. I will take measurments to see what can fit. But hoping to see examples of how it has been done before. I am looking to get (2) 7" screens or a single 9" or larger screen without major modification.

Thanks!

I did a search for that generation 208 to see what the console looked like. Found this on boat trader of a 1997 with a flush mount, may be helpful.

I always hated displays that are on mounting brackets. They take up space and just look like an afterthought, glad I had a panel to replace my “glovebox” on my 2021 208. It’s crazy to even see some boat manufacturers have helm setups without space for flush mounts today…

Can you post a photo of your console to avoid misunderstandings?

Yes, flush mount looks neater, but not always possible.
The biggest problem on bracket mount is the exposed cables if device is disconnected and that they can get spray and rain.
I had same system on my BW 23 Outrage, i made a panel to fit the glove box and Plotter and Depth sounder (back then 2 different devices) where mounted on.
