Any ideas where an installer put a Garmin GSD26 on a 330 express? I have a pair of B175 transducers feeding it, but I can’t find the secret hiding spot. It’s not behind the helm, I’ve checked. Are there any hidden spots in the back 1/2 of the boat that you know about that would work?

Aft cabin port side wall. There’s an access panel with screws. Trim tab reservoir, raw water pump, freshwater pump, and sounder boxes there.

Not sure if you have seen a GSD26,
if not it's a difficult to oversee, grey, half briefcase size box with cooling ribs on the top and the cables coming out on the lower side it installed vertically.

I'm very familiar with the unit. This one is being replaced by a Raymarine CP570 to go with the rest of the system upgrades. I'm just not as familiar with all of the secret spots where electronics can hide on a 330 Express.

Literally anywhere. Anything with screws is an access hatch for something.

I'll point out that starboard wall of aft cabin might be more likely - because there is a direct connection / rigging tray between that and the helm. Port side has freshwater pumps etc but does not have great wiring access to the helm area bc of the doorway/stairs.

Once you pull off those side panels you'll get access to the rigging tubes that go back to the bilge.

If you can't find it anywhere else, look in the "eyebrow" above the electronics box. There's just enough space in there.

Mine is behind the electrics switch panel in the cabin. Easy access to electronics box from there and rigging tubes aft.
