Wondering what products you use to clean the windshields on the 306 or like. Its some for of plexiglass, what works the best? Also, anyone use RainX or the like?

Do not use Rain-X. If the plastic has UV coating, Rain-X can damage it. I would look into Plexus.

Maybe things have changed but products like Strataglass specifically stated that using RainX on their products will void the warranty.
Does the statement you mentioned specify plastic windshields or plastics and windshields (which are usually glass) ?
I will try to do some research.

From the Strataglass website

ALWAYS

- Use Strataglass Protective Cleaner immediately to remove any harmful liquids, creams, chemicals, or sprays that come in contact with the surface.

- Keep a bottle of Strataglass Protective Cleaner on board for quick spot cleaning.

NEVER

- Use Windex, Rain‑X, Pledge, Plexus, Simple Green, Orpine, or any other harsh cleaner on Strataglass products. This will void the warranty.

- Use car wax or any “wash and wax” product on Strataglass. This will void the warranty.

- Use cleaners, polishes, scratch removers, or any products designed for commercial‑grade vinyl or plastic. These can damage Strataglass and void the warranty.

I see they say not to use Plexus also!

I see that RainX has a product called RainX Plastic. It is different than the original RainX. The manufacturer says Not to use RainX Plastic on glass . So maybe it is OK for clear marine plastics but I am not sure

yea, that is the product that i linked in my previous post. i cant see why it wouldnt work / be safe.

from their site:
"Rain‑X® Plastic Water Repellent provides a superior water beading coating on various plastics including Lexan®, Plexiglas®, Perspex®, Lucite®, Acrylics and Polycarbonate."
