Replacing Battery Compartment doors on 2001 Fisherman 222

anyone know a source for replacement doors of the battery compartments on a Fisherman 222?
the picture isnt my boat, but it is the same model and this is a clear picture of the doors I am looking for.

Pics? Or what are they made out of? HDPE?

Assuming that... you can make them yourself - or there are online companies that can make them to your spec.

"Maybe" you can still buy them from GW... but it's going to be expensive since they have to make them again.

thanksfor the question, the door/cover itself simply look like fiberglass to me and it is "flaking/chipping away; ive recently done a bit ofrepair on them ,but frankly they look like crap ..and I just want to see if there are replacements

I assume you mean gelcoat, not fiberglass? Depending on what the core structure is will determine how easy it is to fix. Some the Grady's used this pressed-type junky core that makes things difficult and/or not worth it.

You could use them to make a mold and make your own.

Or, what about the other option of just making them out of HDPE (whether yourself or someone else).

Yes, gelcoat, and they suck, they are split/and almost what I would call chipping...... ANd I didnt think about making my own, probably something I should learn anyway
 
Another thought... would a piece of canvas and a few snaps do the job?

But, HDPE is pretty easy to work with. If you're at least decent working with wood - you'll be fine with HDPE. It would be a fun little project that you could do at your own pace... maybe over the Winter... since it's probably not a "got have it now" kind of thing.
