What have you done to your Grady lately?

I finally decided to get serious about tackle storage on my 180 Fisherman... ten 3700 series Planos, eight thin and two thick. The space up top is about 2 1/2 half inches deep and is accessed by lifting the seat.

Re-wiring in progress. Been a super long time coming but hoping it's finished by the 10th.

a bit over due as i did this back in the summer, but i got a new switch panel, new switches, and a new gage panel. behind the sceens is a new power distribution block with breakers instead of fuses. sorry for the poor quality pics, they got compressed when i e-mailed them to myself.

I removed 100% of the wiring made a new dash panel and reset the gauges. New toggle switches, new wiring throughout as well as LED lighting. There were so many spices and worn parts from the years of changing radios and locators it was nice to start clean with a new fuze panel. I then added a new locator myself as well as a stereo this boat never had. Sometimes it’s just used to drive the Wife around the lake on a nice evening. This is a 1987 tournament 19 that has had a refit with a 200 EFI. First time I dropped it in at the landing and it touched off was worth all the effort.

used my limited skills and made a cocktail/bait type table. used some starboard and a $70 battery router. It's not great but passable

I really like that setup. I think it would be cool to mount that upper platform with the drink holders with friction hinges at the back so you could flip it up to clean the old slim and cut-bait chunks outta there easier. I'm hoping to see how and where it gets mounted.

I didn't have a good way to get the cupholders to stay since not much really sticks to starboard...so I used a metal strap on the bottom to keep them in place.... which means no hinges on this one. It will be more of a cocktail/bbq table. I have an articulating mount for it and I could also do a rodholder mount. I have another table with rodholder mount I bought off amazon so this one may go on the articulating mount. Even though this is a very capable fishng boat, I don't do a ton of fishing lol so this one won't see alot of bait.

It's amateur hour at best. My router skills are not great. first time I ever used one to be honest. I'd call it a solid 5 footer.

I bought 2 small pieces of starboard off amazon and that stuff is costly when buying it small. I'm into this table for about $110 bucks and thats' without the mount. I actually modeled it off this table I received as a gift. Point is I made it more as an exercise to see it I could do it. really didnt save any money. I will say that this amazon docktail table is a smoking deal considering I've seen them for 300-500... the rodholder mount isn't the best but the table itself is really nice.

Maybe mount it here... it would only be a nearly flush plate when not in use
