    Need a new teak door

try Boat Outfitters. They can pretty much make anything, but usually out of Starboard. . Many people use them to reproduce old teak pieces in Starboard. I had them reproduce some teak rod holder racks on my 1989 Sailfish.

    New Suzukis on 1989 Sailfish?

Yes, I am interested. My 2004 Yamaha 200 HP V6s are now 14 years old and I have been considering repowering with a pair of the Suzuki DF200A 4 cylinder outboards . . . . but was concerned about going from the larger displacement of the V6s to the smaller displacement 4 cyl Suzukis. Fully...

    New Suzukis on 1989 Sailfish?

Sorry I didn't respond earlier, I haven't logged into this forum for awhile. When I repowered the boat in 2004 with the 3.3 liter 200 HP V6's, the dealer installed stainless steel 14-1/4 Inch dia. X 18 inch props. Props have ventilation holes at the front edge of the hub. These props perform...

    New Suzukis on 1989 Sailfish?

If repowering, you might want to consider twin 200 HP outboards. It's a heavy boat and you can never have too much horsepower.

    New Suzukis on 1989 Sailfish?

I had my Yamaha dealer pull off the old Grady drive and instal the new Armstrong bracket. Dealer also did fiberglass work filling in the old Grady drive holes. The Armstrong bracket cost about $4,000 (keep in mind that was 13 years ago). Regarding the design, I made the new Armstrong...

    New Suzukis on 1989 Sailfish?

I repowered my 1989 Sailfish 252G 13 years ago with twin 200 HP Yamaha 3.3 liter four stroke V6s. I replaced the original heavy Grady drive bracket with a new lighter custom made aluminum engine bracket made by Armstrong Nautical Products. The floatations chamber of the new bracket was much...

    Zinc Help

From the photo it looks like that is a grounding plate made by GUEST. Not a zinc You can see the GUEST writing on it. I don't think GUEST ever made zincs. Grounding plates were used with LORAN installations.

    Potential Purchase Advice

I have a 1989 GW Sailfish that originally had two 1989 Johnson 200 HP two strokes on a Grady factory bracket. In 2004, I pulled off the old Grady bracket and installed a new larger (and lighter) Armstrong bracket along with a pair of Yamaha F200 3.3L V6 four-stroke outboards. I made the...

    Freshwater Flushing

I have two 2004 Yamaha V6 F200's on my boat. For the last 13 years, when I flush using the hose flushing attachment, I don't get water out of the pee hole. But when I run the engines in the water, cooling water comes out of the pee hole just fine. It's just an quirk with these engines...
