This. I have an 03 282 as well, the temp knob turns it off as others have stated. Mine was dead so I got a 12v/120v Isotherm now.

Looks like we'll be joining this group. We have our 282 in San Antonio and at the Texas coast. But, we have a little house up in Au Gres, MI that we go to each summer, so next year we will be towing it up there to stay. Looking forward to more time on the water with my own boat up there.

Thanks guys for the input, I've watched some videos ((:) of people doing it on the trailer, that was the plan. But, I think I'll check and see what it would cost to have it done. Or at least have some place to do it on stands/sling. Again, thanks!

So right now the system is popping a fuse when you hit the level or pump button. The wiring on top of the tank is all very corroded so I really don’t know if the pump is good. Plan is to pull the tank, test pump. If it works, install and rewire. If it doesn’t work then figure out if I want to...

So my macerator pump does not work, hasn't since I bought the boat. Before tearing into it, I'd like to pump it out at a marina with that capability. My question is, do I need any adaptors or hoses for this, or do you simply but the pump out station's hose in the access point and it pumps it out?
