    Throttle/shifter control hard to push on a 1991 Overnighter

    I have a 1991 Overnighter with a Yamaha 175 outboard. The throttle/shifter control is hard to push, so I loosened the friction control screw but it is still hard to push/pull back the throttle/shifter control. I don't think the cable is kinked anywhere. Can the cable be lubed? Any other...
