I've got the same problem. I was told I have the wrong anchor. I purchased it from a GW dealer along with the winch. Your right it is a pain.

I would like to plumb a public water hook-up to the fresh water system on my Marlin. Any one have any tips?

The deck was pulled to install a new generator. I have crawled into every hole working on items and nothing yet. I may be lucky though the way it sounds. Barry.

I had the same problem with my 02 Islander. There is a screen type filter attached to the pump. My filter got clogged and restricted the flow. May not cure your problem but it may help.

For its worth, I have a 1996 Marlin with NO rot.

Anybody know the length of the fuel senders for a 1996 Marlin? Barry.

Sounds crazy but I had a similar problem and a friend said to use powder TANG, the drink mix. It actually worked better and any cleaner. I also heard not to use Bleach, it damages the gellcoat. Don't actually know, however I quit using it. Good luck. Barry.

Had the same problem with my Marlin. Did it but had to stand on my head. A real pain!!! Barry.

I did the same thing, however the anchor won't fall when engaged to lower. I have to give it a push for it to fall. Any one else have this problem? Barry.

I have a 1996 Marlin. The helm chairs need the plastic slider shims replaced. Where can I get replacements. Thanks.

I have a 1996 Marlin that was repowered in 2003 with new Yamaha gages at the time. Both fuel gages quit working at the same time. One reads half, the other reads full. Any advise on repair. Thanks, Barry.
