I have a 1993 explorer 24 with grady drive (enclosed transom with a bracket). I added a yamaha 225 4 stroke several years ago--No problem. I agree, call grady white with all the specs. If it does work out, not only inspect the transom, but check out all the scuppers or thru hull fittings...
