I was wondering if any of you 306 owners have installed a trolling motor? If so, roughly what was the cost and how do you like it? I am fishing Cape Cod to Boston and out.

I run a 306 out of Mass South Shore. Trips usually around 8 hours give or take. Usually have 3-4 20lb bags in the aft box. When we return, they are barely melted. This includes summer days with sun beating down. I keep the bags intact until we have fish to ice, which probably preserves.

Back to the Boat Show, the biggest head scratcher to me was the 271 Canyon at $300K+ while the 306 Canyon was $345K. Not much of a difference in price for much more boat.
