Selling a pair of Yamaha Saltwater Series II propellers. RH and LH 15-1/4 × 19 props. These were installed in my 300 Marlin I replaced them with a pair of 4 blade Powertech OSF4 15-1/4 × 18. Asking $600 for the pair.

I think that the water pump impeller will run dry if you do it like that. You will get cooling water to the engine but you may damage the impeller on the water pump. Use the muffs its safer.

I was at the marina today. Motors are mounted on the second hole from the top. Ventilation plate is 1" abovve the bottom.

Good question, nut sure either 2nd or 3rd ventilation plates are about 1" above hull. I run similar numbers to yours with 19" pitch props. Mine will sometimes ventilate in following seas but not in turns.

Tucker do some preliminary checks before you start the project. The anti-ventilation plates are normally 1 -2 inches above the bottom of the hull. Check this with a straight edge and see how they are mounted. If the engines are mounted too low you should get an increase on top end and...

Those plastic rings are for your downrigger weights. You can put them in there so they don't roll around in the cockpit they can cause a lot of damage if they get loose. My Sailfish has them too. I used to have a Penn downrigger and the 10 lb weight ball fit in there perfectly.

Fishtales was that an option on the 282 Sailfish I don't recall ever seeing one setup that way.
