Lower cowl is new in the box. Upper cowl has minor damage (crack) on back, lower right corner. See pics. New (if you can get them) are $570 for lower and $1590 for upper. These are from 2022 LF 200. Asking $750 for both. Located in Mid-Coast Maine.

I have twin I-4 200's on our new Freedom 255. Good power. I cruise around 20 knots at 3800 rpm in salt water. I have not gone to WOT, but I suspect she will do mid 40's KPH. The 255 has a hard top, sink, electric head, windless, etc, but is still probably lighter than the 265? Hope this helps.

I hadn't though about the rubber being old even if the boat id new. I'll try a new, high quality blade to see f it makes a difference. Thanks

I do keep a squeegee on the boat. When at the dock, i use zero water (0 TDS) that use at home to was windows. Works excellent. However, if we are out and and a wave/wake comes over the bow, I don't have time to get the squeegee, etc. I'd like the wiper to do its job. Thanks for the feedback.

It is a 2022 boat, new in July. I have not used any coatings on the glass. The boat is in salt water. I clean if there is spray when I return to port. Thanks

We had a Freedom 235 and now have Freedom 255. On both boats the wiper did a very poor job of clearing the windshield. Has anyone modified/changed the wiper to perform better? Thanks Brian

Gbgrady208 and Sauza45, thank you both for the feedback. It’s good to hear that my issues are more “user” than equipment. I didn’t know about the ability to reprogram though. After more time and practice I’ll be better able to determine if reprogramming would improve it’s performance.

We Took delivery of 2022 Freedom 255 in July. So far to only serious issue was related to the port engine (twin 200’s). It quit about a quarter mile from the marina. It was a loose ground on the engine. Not sure GW can take responsibility for that. There are however some minor issues that...

I’ll try and get a pic of the gauge. The problem is no reading on the fuel level at all. I tried disconnecting the pink (power)from the sending unit. Nothing changes.
