    i dont think a mat is going to keep your decks clean. the only way to do that is to have a no shoe policy. thats what i do and it works

    just keep in mind that that is a cosmetic upgrade only. the old plastic drains are still likely brittle, and the hoses themselves likely are quite deteriorated

    another benefit of being in FL, haha. i dont think our HDs carry anything marine oriented. my ACE has ss, but there is no grade marking. i just order everything from McMaster

    for black, NewWire Marine has a nice matte black called Lux Matte. i think i still prefer the basic glass/gelcoat to match the rest of the console

    was he able to confirm dry delamination or factory void vs water intrusion? if it was due to water intrusion, you are just fixing the symptom, not the problem.

    everyone has a different opinion, but i wouldn't do the high gloss black acrylic panel. its essentially mounting your electronics in a black mirror. there's lots of distracting glare and reflections

    also, make sure you dont forget to take the tape back off when you are done. it would probably just come off in the water without any problems, but better safe than sorry

    petit's website says that it is "excellent for racing, trailering, or rack stored boats". id assume long enough
