Anyone know if there is a way to lube the pivot/u-joint on the tilt mechanism? Even after taking off the old one, I couldn't see any way to lube anything. Probably not a big deal, but I was shocked how badly worn that part of the assembly was.

I still have mine. It has to be at least 12 years old. It is actually a liner for a coat. I typically wear it under a shell on the boat.

Ultimately I wonder how close bunks need to hit on these points. Grady hulls are so thick that I can't imagine being off +/- 4" would matter.

Did you top coat yours with anything? Clear or 303? It wouldn't surprise me if SEM and Rust-Oleum are the same stuff. Rust-Oleum is a Sherwin Williams company. Looks like a nice design. My only concern would be the windshield. I'm sure you would be fine seated, but I'm guessing your getting blasted in the face when standing. It's one of the few complaints I have on my boat.
