I am looking at purchasing a 15.5x 17p stainless prop for my 20' Overnighter. I will be running a 1996 Mercury 175hp Carbed... Question ---will this prop be ok? Or would it be too much prop? I have never run this motor/ prop combo on this boat before..Original setup was 150 Merc with 14.5x19p...

Brian.. You are correct on where the drain is located...underneath aft seats on vertical section...no floor drain etc... I like the idea you have of keeping it straight from existing location and inserting 90 degree barbed fitting and then exit out the side...also thanks for the picture..I can...

I am finishing up my transom redo on my 20' Overnighter and was wondering about relocating the two cockpit drain scuppers to exit on either hull side instead of transom..It would also free up some underside space with routing the hose at an almost 90 degree angle...Anyone done this??...would it...

Re: 20 Overnighter-Another Transom Redo from Outside Got Gelcoat and duratec sprayed today..I had to use my primer gun....got one run and some blemishes/orangepeel...good enough though..I am tempted to wetsand 1000 and shoot again!!! Will finish up with scuppers and also drain plug etc...Gotta...

Very nice work.. Questions for you.. On your bow rail..did you redo whole bow rail or weld to existing rail/bend extension hoop for pulpit? Also what type of thru transom stainless scuppers did you use ...Attwood?? and do you have model number... I replaced thru hulls with stainless and I have...

Re: 20 Overnighter-Another Transom Redo from Outside Today I was able to get 2 coats heavy of non waxed gelcoat and one coat heavy waxed gelcoat....next step sand..sand ....check... recheck and then spray/blend gelcoat with duratec...here are some pics.. Fred

Re: 20 Overnighter-Another Transom Redo from Outside Well...darned rain in S FL...but we do need it... Got final fairing almost done...next step..Clean up Good!!! & then..... 2 coats non waxed gelcoat and one coat waxed gelcoat...sand waxed gelcoat...check all out and then spray final coat...
