Anyone add shorepower to 226/228 or such.. How did it go ??

This has to be one of the simple no brainer projects. The hardest decision is where to place it. I have been putting then in the stern on the 228 just to keep it clean and easy. Yes you can do this yourself. Pick your charger and lets get you started..... If you decide to tackle it I will...

Yup done two of them. both in the same place. You can see it on the right next to the speeker and on the left side if you look close is the outboard flush so I dont have too lean over the transom

    228G Seafarer versus 232 Gulfstream

Wish I had side to side pictures of both, but as of yet one is in Dana and the other is in San Diego. To me these are two differant boats. But first ask your self this. Are you going to trailer it???? The beam of the 232 means permits in most states and some keen driving skills to keep her...

    Rinsing Fuel Tank storage area

What pictures would you like to see? I have some of a 04 228 fuel tank area and 93 24 explorer. Both are the same as far as rubber stips and alum. tank. Both used rubber (?) type strips as padding. They have self adhesive plus the strips of duct tape to hold them on. What I have seen is the...

    Electrical Question: 2006 228G Seafarer

If your batt's are still in the stock location,(Transom Lockers Port& starboard) The starboard side has 3 black fuse holders from the factory that are attached to that batt. One of them has stereo marked on it. That is hot! Just look at the wire color and you can go to the dash and pick up the...

You are correct about moving the fuel tank in the 228 and changing the ride of the boat. In fact I spent many hours and lots of computer time with GW factory and not only had there blessing they are very aware of the up side. So by all means call the factory they will be more then happy to...

    Deck plate O rings

Grady Manual???? Not sure I said that. pretty sure I said the factory recomends to flush the tanks with fresh water. Sorry about the confusion. That was passed on to me by the tech I was working with last year to move a main tank forward in a 228 2005. Water will always inter the bilge...

05 228 is perfectly level in the slip and allways level at any speed,"unless there is even the slightest breeze," then she leans. Bear in mind that there is very little that is stock on this one. Main fuel tank moved all the way forward. 3 batt's located in new fishhold,(old fuel tank...
