trying my seat out. lol. Also got my cuddy door done used 3/4 plexiglass with a push open magnet to hold it shut. The bench seat will be fiberglassed and molded to floor. will have gas shocks to open it for storage. can't wait to finish it all and slap some new awlgrip on it. :roll:

Good point. I guess my idea is to turn more boats an gain more $ i we both had concerns but where eager to try. I mentioned worse case scenario as a form of contractor just paying my labor. He needs me for that an i need him for funding to keep the flow.

Been doin it for awhile myself now have a partner who will buy a boat an supply parts ill be doin labor an listing. Any ideas how to divide profit an write contract for such??? Example if im doin labor should i add that as a bill plus split in profit? And should he bill for parts or just call it...

Yea the more i read i opted for awlgrip. Ive painted cars in bodyshops for years an feel more comfortable with that. PLUS i know how much wetsanding will b needed and really dont care for that amount lol.

Sure do ill update this weekend. Got the hull sanded down ready for primer and got some stress cracks grinded out ready to repair. Seat bases are resined and ready to fiberglass to floor. Next week im ditching the busted guage pod to make custom one. :mrgreen:

note: I am new to gelcoat just tinkering with my toy. I priced everything I'd need for awlgrip and $2000 for materials is nuts when gel is half the price

if I have good hull just changing the eggshell white to snow white, am I able to just sand existing gelcoat with 320 and then shoot new color? or does need primer before? doesn't matter just need to know
