    max 2 stroke engine hours

Well, all I have for you is good news. The OX66 has been regarded as the best outboard motor ever made! 2000-3000hrs are not unusual with this motor. There was a charter captain on another forum that said he had a pair still in service with 10,000hrs and only performed regular maintenance and...

    Need Advice on Seafarer

Your boat is a newer boat designed for 4s power. In 1992 4 stroke was still a dream so the boat was not designed for the additional weight.

Help with possible 248 Voyager purchase

I apologize if my info was discouraging. Obviously I was speaking without the proper knowledge, commonly refered to as ignorance. I must say that the top end speed is surprising but I am sure is accurate. When I spoke with Grady support the info they quoted me on my boat was dead on and I am...

Boat cover for a 248 Voyager

Any suggestions on a boat cover company for a 248 Voyager? I would like a cover to cover the hard top but attach to it and cover the motor. Has anyone had any dealings with boatcovers direct? Thanks for the input. :huh

Help with possible 248 Voyager purchase

Waaaaaaaay underpowered! I have a 1996 with single 225 with very good performance. I cant imagine why someone would have rigged this boat that way. I would be interested to see how long to get on plane with all that weight back there. :hmm :hmm Must have gotten a great deal on the 115s...

    228 seafarer questions

It is the opinion of many Grady owners that this is the most versatile hull they ever built. You will not find many bad words about this boat on any forum. There are some nice used 228s out there. Good luck and keep us posted! 8)

    Wake boarding

Grady makes a tow pylon that they are installing on the new boats. I have a 1996 Voyager that I plan on installing one on. Depending on the year of your boat you may have to reinforce the transom. Grady has a company in Chocowinity that handles their warranty work and does this type of work...

Voyager 248 - update - need surveyor in Two Rivers, WI area

Re: Voyager 248 power configuration Hey Dan, Your boat is newer than mine to begin with. I recently purchased a 1996 248 Voyager with a Yamaha 225 2 stroke. I know this is not a equal comparison but here are my observations. When I went to sea trial the boat I was really concerned with...

    She's a good Swimmer!

Good swimmer Rocking a bod like that, I'll gladly jump in to save her. Looks like she needs a good mouth to mouth, front to front, front to back, or something like that. By the way, where is north?

    Removing Waterline Stains

After many years of salt water boating I am still looking for a non acid hull cleaner that works. I have used On-Off, toilet bowl cleaner, Barkeepers Friend and a couple of others. Has anyone used a non acid based product that works and does not require a lot of scrubbing? Overtons makes a non...
