I have a 06 282 that has the same dash format. When I upgraded after purchasing the boat I made a new layer out of 1/2” king board and mounted it to the dash Panel.

I fish a 282 out of Monroe on Lake Erie. I have twin 250s and I run a single 40” bag I can get down to 1.3-1.5. I run no bag and tabs down I get 2.2-2.4 while running spoons for eyes.

My 06 282 with F250’s run at that notch on gauge too. I will know more this summer when I hook the motors to my nmea 2000 it will give me actual temp in degrees.

Slowly converting my 282 to all led. I did new dual color spreaders and blue cockpit lights all off amazon and very happy with lights. Next will be red white cockpit light with the spreader switch in it and all Interior cabin lights. Daughter loves all the blue light at dock!

Mine is a 8000btu it tripped the gfi in the bathroom once but I had 2 other fans plugged in trying to see what all I could run. The fan on ours runs all the time it tripped when the condenser kicked on, other wise it ran 36 hours strait in 2 different trips and worked perfect.

I run mine only when at the dock. Unit fits perfect on the galley countertop drains into the sink and vents out the window. While running we store it in the head with a rug on floor. Keeps cabin of our 282 a nice 68 degrees.
