2014 307 Freedom. I'm looking to update the 2 12" Garmins. What is the best way to get behind the Garmins? They are flush mounted.

I replaced the 2 cup holders like David did on his Freedom last weekend. A little challenging. Needed to use a Dremel on the starboard cup holder to make room for the support/horseshoe. Plus a puddy knife to remove the excess spray insulation around the hole.

What's the secret to removing the Grady cup holders? And thank you! Bill

Do you remember if you went with 0 or 15 degree holders? So you obviously were able to reach up with a socket from the one hatch?

The Gemlux rod holders don't use screws, they secure from below with a big threaded nut. Plus you've got to have the access to the underside to tighten the nut. The installation socket looks like a good option for the Gemlux rod holder. If we can reach that underside.

I'm also going to replace the rod holders this off season, on each side of the boxes with Rod & Cup holders. I've used the Mate Series rod holders on a previous boat and they worked fine. But I'm looking at Gemlux also. The question is how much access do I have to the rod/cup holders from...

Finally got time to post the tools I had to use when I ran wires for adding a downrigger. The coat hanger was key. Reaching to the starboard wall with the coat hanger pole did the trick.

After taking the AC power cord plate off, you snaked down to the batteries, then were able to pull a line back up to the plate?

Good morning Hookup1, I'm a new 2014 307 Freedom owner that is trying to run power for my downriggers. Port side was easy. Starboard looked impossible . How did you run the power for your reels on the starboard side? Thanks O'Grady
