I have owned my 200 HPDI a couple of years (2005 used) and I read in the manual that the water pump needs replacement every 200 hours or yearly. Does anyone replace it yearly? Also is the replacement fairly easy or challenging? Also - where and how often should the thermostat be changed out?

I have the same motor and the muffs I have aren't a great fit so I find I need to press the muffs against the motor until it gets the right fit and starts peeing good.

I had checked the gas tank with a water indicator and there was no water in the tank. Next I replaced the VST filter and that did the trick - works great now. Thanks for all the input

This is my first boat nice enough to consider waxing (used 2001 226). Does everyone just wax the outside hull? or do you wax all the top (inside the boat) surfaces? I assume it is the surfaces without the tread texture (just smooth surfaces)? Just looking for some basic help. Thanks.

I have a 2001 Seafarer 226 and considering buying and installing Bennet 12 x 9 trim tabs. My question is whether an indicator that shows the tab position is useful? essential? Seems like it would help to know where the tab is rather than just the basic rocker switch? Also anything tricky...

I bought a 226 in the spring and it didn't come with a trailer. I was trying to avoid the cost of buying a trailer just for winter removals. Anyone in Southern NJ have a trailer to hold a 226 that I can rent for a day (around Thankgiving)? Just exploring cheaper options than buying a trailer...
