Hi, Looking to delete my gunnel rod holders and install a track system on my 82 204C. My boat is 4 hours from my house and I can't get there to measure it. Can anyone tell me the length of the gunnel from rod holder to rod holder? I'd like to get the longest track system that will fit.

First, ditch the idea to use FLA's. spend the money and get Lithium's! I used 6 gauge with a 45A breaker on a Minnkota 36V , 112lb thrust and it works perfect. I also installed a NOCO 15A, 3 bank charger.

The rule is the boat is to be registered in the state where it is primarily used, doesn't matter where you reside. I registered my previous boat in DE, the new one in PA. I trailer it to MD, VA, DE, OH and PA. (haven't paid the tolls yet to cross the bridges into NJ just yet) I'd worry more...

I did my transom on my 82 Overnighter about 3 years ago. Cut the outer skin, removed the rotten plywood, and replaced with 2 layers of new Okuma 11 plywood, then glassed a new outer skin with epoxy and 7 layers of 1708. If I had to do it over again, I would take off the rubrail, cut the cap...

I haven’t got it back yet. The first 10 yours is break in time and I can’t go to WOT until there’s about 5 hours on it. I’m just trying to save them the hassle and cost of changing out the prop if they get it wrong.
