I am getting close to actually doing this project. I have not taken one apart to see hoe its put together, but I ban see that the pleated vinyl is wrapped on first and then welting is pit on to finish the back. Here is a pic of the welting .... How did you guys do the ends? They appear to...

You must be following me :P I lived north of Chicago and fished out of Winthrop Harbor fo salmon for years.

A couple of buds, Newy and Jack fished with me out of Ponce Inlet FL 11-15-06. The morning bite was hot, with 3 red snappers and a sailfish. The rest of the day was slow, but we managed a few more fish. We were one shy of our limit of 6 snapper. Oh, we all had our chances at the 6th, but...

Now that's a fishing report! I just got a calstar graphite blank two weeks ago. I hope to build a nice light stand up rod this winter.

Summer is aour slow (bad) time for bottom fishing. Well....summer is over! We were out yesterday and we boxed 3 Gray Grouper and 11 Scamp Grouper. Three happy fishermen!
