Does this Pass the Smell Test....

Lol... the boat in the second picture looks to have an "RI" for the registration numbers on the side of it, which obviously represents the state, this case being Rhode Island, not New Jersey which is what it should be if the video is correct. Not that the registration numbers alone is suspicious...

    2009 Grady-White Tournament 225 with a Yamaha F250 455 hours - $44,995

Good looking boat and good luck with the sale... I do believe an asking price is required to post on here?

    Water in Sailfish

A couple of thoughts on the matter here.... first would be do you pull the boat out of the water every time you're done for the day or do you have it wet slipped somewhere? When you do pull the boat out, do you pull the drain plug out of the boat and leave it out until you get back home? I ask...

FS: 2021 228 Seafarer in like new condition - click link

It is... I bought my boat back in Maryland in October of 2021 from a Grady White dealership, of which when I bought my boat, there was a brand new 2021 Grady White 228 Seafarer there called "Last Chance" that was getting it's annual winterization done to it. I asked about the boat and the...

What model Grady White do you own?

I've got a 228 Seafarer, and yes the walkaround portion of the boat is pretty narrow on each side. The hardtop is great as it has a grab rail and multiple different locations you can hold onto when walking and feel much safer while doing so. I imagine that's not likely the case for you with the...

What model Grady White do you own?

Good looking boat... I bought a 2004 Grady White 228 Seafarer with a 2004 Yamaha F225 back in Maryland in October of 2021 that had just under 1k hours on her at the time of purchase. Flew out from Seattle, looked at the boat, put an offer down on her, took her for a sea trial run, rented a...

2001 Grady 265 Express Repower Info needed

I'd honestly listen to SkunkBoat as he has an entire post dedicated to the topic at hand and replicate what he did. The Suzuki's are great motors and wouldn't discredit them in the slightest, even if they aren't your first choice for a repower...

    Battery replacement on Sailfish 282

I bought my boat back in October of 2021 and the boat had batteries in there that were of an unknown age. The battery date stickers on the top were missing, one had a "3" on it but I'm not sure what that meant. Anyway, I was pulling in the boat for the season off my mooring buoy when the boat...

Grady 330 Express vs 300 Marlin

I remember when I was a kid in the mid 2000's going down to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and seeing 2 stroke motors on all of the fishing charter boats, some of which looked like they were from the 1980's or even earlier and they were still running. As mentioned above, I imagine they run them...

Grady 330 Express vs 300 Marlin

As mentioned above, I think that's because they're being constantly ran, aren't being used in the saltwater and so forth. It seems like most outboards only make it to 2,000-2,500 hours before they either need to be replaced or the owner wants to replace them for peace of mind.

Grady 330 Express vs 300 Marlin

Exactly about the more you use them, the longer they last.

2001 Grady 265 Express Repower Info needed

Sounds again as though you're not too terribly serious about keeping your current boat for the long run... of which yes, I'd definitely fix up what you can if possible, or buy a used 200 HPDI, install it and then sell the boat to get something you really want. And/or something that's already...

Grady 330 Express vs 300 Marlin

Wait... did I read that correctly? You got 4,440 hours out each outboard? That's impressive... In regards to the topic of the thread, I guess it depends on how often you think you'll be using the walkaround portion of the boat, if you'll need to go up to the bow/bow pulpit often, etc...

    Seafarer 228 washdown hose holder

I just saw this the other day and thought it was a cool idea, though the $170 price tag is a bit absurd for a hunk of plastic. Seems like something that could be very easily/cheaply made at home on your own...
