    Sea-Tow membership

Is my reaction to this year's Sea-Tow bill warranted? I opened the envelope and my eyes lit up!! What? $249.00!! I've had Sea-Tow since 2003 and love the comfort of knowing rescue is yes, just a phone call away. But the escalation....please!!

    232 Gulfstream w/twins no affliation

Seems to me if you are posting/commenting here (this forum) the lane is Grady-White boats. Due to my age and being in suburban New York the street vernacular and interpretation may be different but a "lane" would be like a train of thought or subject idea. Anyway maybe I just have time since it...

    Trailer guides

As fate would have it, one of my guides broke before I even realized they were under the boat! I have now been sent a replacement guide which they told me has an "orange" cap. My first thought was OK, I'll just spray it white and be done with it. Then I thought, "it is going to be on the right...

    Trailer guides

Hopefully this will be our first season trailering around the Northeast to boat the big lakes. For the best use of the guides how much space should there be between the guide and the rub rail. It is set now about 2" from the rub rail.

    Sureshade PTX

Has anyone installed the SureShade power shade for their cockpit? How difficult is the installation? Can you run with the shade in place over your cockpit? TIA

    Argo app

Yes, there is a feature where you can connect with "friends" and see where each of you are and set ETA times. I haven't gotten into the meat of what it can do but it was very highly rated by AAA as a nautical aid. From what I was able to do on board the ship it will almost replace your chart...

    Argo app

Argo is a free app for your phone which I "found" via an email from AAA. I came across it while on a cruise to the Bahamas and was able to download it aboard the ship. I was then able to track the ship, speed, depth of waters we were in, course headings, nautical miles from anywhere - yeah it...

    Argo app

I just found the Argo app, which I can't wait to use this season. So how late to the party am I?

    Winter storage

First Winter with the boat home on the trailer. It is parked in the backyard so do I leave the trailer sitting on the grass or would it be better to slip 12" square patio blocks under each tire. Or should I block the trailer and bring the tires inside?

    Fuel guage

So here are my gages. I obviously need to spend more time on task. The fuel icon is almost in bold. The temp reading looks a little wonky, is there supposed to be a number there rather than a "blob?"

    Fuel guage

Oh my, I may have mistaken "trim" for the fuel gauge reading. But there shouldn't be anywhere near a full tank of gas in it. Thanks for the lead...

    Fuel guage

On the premise there are no dumb questions: where do I find my fuel guage? I have a 2000 248 Voyager with a Yamaha SWS 250OX66 and have 2 circular guages at the helm. The one on the left seems to show time, distance, battery charging and trim...the guage on the right show tach...I have a main...
