I just read that it's required that the manufacturer put a hidden HIN somewhere on the boat. Has anyone seen where it is on GW boats.?

I replaced the transom on my boat. Can i just put an engraved metal plate with the HIN on it to replace the old one, or do I have to stamp it on instead?

It's not water but discolored gas. The color is darker than regular gas but not very dark like I had seen before. update: drained the tank 2 times. Both times I put in new gas and the boat ran fine at low rpm. After some time I upped the spped and the motor died out. Had to be towed back. Issue is the fuel filters get clogged. I drain the gas and the first 1/2-gallon's pure crap. The rest of the fuel...

I emptied 3 gallons of gas/water. Didn't estimate how much water was in those 3 gallons, just when I drained more no water showed up. I have maybe 35 gallons more in the tank. I can empty the entire thing but will that fix the problem, maybe there is still some varnish deposits still in the...

UPDATE: Got the water out of the tank by draining about 3 gallons. Changed Suzuki low and high-pressure fuel filters and replaced the injectors. Runs like a champ off an external tank. Drained another gallon of gas and got no water but doesn't look good. Back to original problem of varnish in...
