Two swim platforms like this one will probably also work. About the helm like others said you could get a custom cover just for the helm. I’m also selling($850) a full enclosure for a seafarer that could work as a cover and also when you are out cruising on the boat.

I had the same issue on my 228 I made my own wrench with a 3/4 pvc and it got the job done.

I have a 1999 228 seafarer Yamaha 225 ox66 with Bimini enclosure, Powertech 4 blade prop 15 pitch, and I see 1.8-2.1mpg at cruise . What hole is your engine on and what prop are you guys using to achieve 2.5-2.8 mpg? Im located in Northern California.
