    282 Sailfish FS

Greg, I just had a call from my friend who has the 282 Sailfish (BTW, the engines are not 2005 F250's, they are 2007 F250's!)... I mentioned to him that you had a 265, and I think he would like to ask you some things (pro's and cons), if you would call him. I don't think I still have your cell...

    282 Sailfish FS

Oh my gosh Greg, It's good to hear from you. And the awesome Jeep... wow, I thought you sold it a couple years ago. Interestingly, we are taking the RV to Florida in Feb, and I don't have a vehicle to tow with us, so I had actually been looking for something, just for the probably one last trip...

    282 Sailfish FS

A friend who lives just a few blocks from me, told me today that he is selling his 2002 Sailfish, which I believe has 2005 F250 engines, and the boat is on a trailer. He's moving up to a larger Grady White, and has priced it somewhere around the mid-60. I don't know if he has photos to upload...

AC Install in 282. It Works!

Looks to me like you've got it well thought out, and are doing a nice job. I presume this is for boat trips where you will be renting a slip with shore power, for overnight stops. Regarding access to the blind side of the 3/4" starboard base, you could use...

    Accordion door Latch

The latch that keeps the bi-fold door from folding and closing against the head compartments, works as I described in my previous post. With the door in position, lift the metal U-plate by the knob, then slide it over then down, so it bridges the 2 door sections.

    Accordion door Latch

No, just lift up on the knob, then slide it over the hinge section, and down into the "locked" position.

    Show Us Your Grady

Very nice! And quite a trip, especially in a U-Haul. How long did it take?

    Delaware River

Looks to have been a very nice time. Thanks for posting the pics. Yes, the 204c is still a fantastic boat. That was my first Grady, bought in 1989, and we boated in that area of the Delaware River, C&D canal, and the smaller rivers at the northern end of Chesapeake Bay. Great memories, and you...

Before & After Pics - Dash gellcoat repair

Thanks. I don't have anything that needs work on my boat, but I wanted to ask, seeing what a good job you did. And I am sure others will benefit from your information.

    Vent windows

Lt. Mike, I don't know what you are referring to here, and I didn't see any photos that matched the description of "large advertising piece with a zipper". Do you have a photo of that item? Thanks

OP, you do good work. Please share your sources for the gelcoat, sprayer, and tips you may offer. This thread might become a how-to "Sticky".

1999 grady white 232 gulf stream window replacement

There's a couple threads about this very topic, and in post #6 of this thread, SkunkBoat posted some great photos and a description of what he did. I did that same project for the stbd vent window on my 255, and mine came out great too.

    Vent windows

Thanks for posting. That's a good buy, although their posted regular price is silly. They are on Amazon and ebay for $11 and change.

    Vent windows

I just bought the new-to-me Freedom 255 (mid-April), and among the many other problems that came with it, the starboard vent window, hinge and latch were missing. It took months to get a response from MGS, but in all fairness to them, they were bogged down with orders, and one of theirvkey...

W-W-W_O_W! $8000. I knew it had to be pricey, but I never would have guessed 8k. I do know one thing though. They are beautiful. First one I have seen was on a friends boat I was on last Sunday.

I'm sorry I can't help you, but I'm interested in where/how you upgraded to the power companion seat. Did you have a dealer order it? Price? I'd like to do that on our 2012 Freedom 255, which had the back to back companion seat that has to be lifted up and out, to make it a kind of lounge. Don't...
