5-Salt very clean install. How difficult was it to replace the fill hose on the auxiliary tank. How did you run the new hoses?

    Storage idea

I almost converted that to a storage on my 228 but at the end decided to keep the fresh water because I do use it when fishing. I was going to convert it into to 2 tackle tray holders. I ended up doing this for storage. I have had it for few months now and I’m so glad I did it.

My aux tank was replaced by the previous owner. When I purchased the boat in 2020 I pulled the main hatch out and inspected the original main tank at the time the tank looked pretty good. This winter I’m pulling the main tank out for inspection and to re-epoxy, I will be also replacing gas fill...

    MFD's

I like 2 units as stated above one as a chart plotter and the other one as a sounder. It’s also nice to have everthing in one area it just simplifies things.

    1999 Seafarer 228 hose & fuel tank inspection/replacing

This winter I’m thinking of inspecting my fuel tanks. The auxiliary tank is 5 years old replaced by the previous owner( fill hose is original). 228 Kicker Placement

That’s great feel free to send me a Pm we can talk on how to fish for them. It’s always good to build a network when the fish are up here you can jump on my boat and we can go out. By the way yes my bracket is higher I think like 9 or 10 inches.

Grady white 228 tackle station build

I decided to build a tackle station on my 228. I purchased a sheet(4x8) expanded pvc and went to work. I wanted to keep my cost and weight down. The last trays on the floor are removable so you can still access the inspection hatch. The tackle stations are held in place by Velcro attach to the...

Finally Installed The Bow Pulpit With A Few Mods.

That looks amazing great job. Have you put the boat in the water and retrieved it back on the trailer? The anchor roller coming down from the pulpit might interfere with the trailer roller near the winch.
