I've purchased 2 different covers fro Empire covers and have been very happy. The 1200 denier is very sturdy and has lasted 4 seasons on the Oregon coast.

I have bought a few from Empire covers, and they work great. They are reasonably priced and easy to put on and get off.

Nobody better than Shane of H&M Marine. He has helped me with a few things on my engine via face time and I'm in Oregon. Great shop and great staff.

Check out the one that fits in the burnewiin system, it works great. I don't own one but have used one several times and it is fantastic.

They should be the standard 30 degree rod holders. I replaced all of mine on my 228 with Burnewiin and never looked back. This is one of the best upgrades I have made to my Grady.

I put a 4 blade powertech 15.25 x 16 on my seafarer 228 that has an ox66 225 on it. I went with Ken's recommendation and he was spot on. It gives more lift in the stern and the ability to stay on step at slower speeds was greatly improved. I'm in Oregon and I wanted more mid and low end...

Another vote for Burnewiin, super clean and the rod holders are the best.

I don't know where you are in CA, but Shane at H&M Marine is Sausalito is an amazing mechanic.

I regularly fish on a 2006 Journey 258, and the 150's are perfect for that boat. We have loaded the the boat with 3 adults, 400lbs of ice and 30 plus albacore and it does just fine with the 150's. Great boat and it rides very well in all conditions.

I just ran it around the main bar below the rod holders. I would pull a 3 person tube with 3 teenagers on it regularly, you have to be careful with the tube wanting to catch air when tied to the hard top. I would wakeboard myself and I'm 180ish and never had any problems. I do like the idea...

I have pulled many wake boarders and tubes from the hardtop on my 228. Never had any problems, and you could not feel any flex in the frame when someone made a hard turn.

Can you explain this further? I did mine this past spring and mine didn't look like this. No screw, and the hole was not offset, just curious

I went with a Garmin 1242xsv, garmin 175hw tranducer, raymarine ev150 auto pilot. I could be happier with how everything works together.
