    330 verses 360

I’ve had both. My 33 had twin 225’s and my 360 had trip 250’s. I’m not a fan of the 350’s and would not want it with twin 350’s. My trip 250’s cruised at .8 MPG @ 4500 RPM and 30 MPH all day regardless of load. if I was buying one today the trip 300’s would be my choice (unless buying new)...

    NizPro ECM Flash

It is real, it does work, but the effect depends on the motor. Some motors see significant increases while others are more subtle (IIRC the 250 gets a nice bump b it the 300 not so much). It will void the warranty. They are well known and widely used though. Search the internet and you will...

    Grady 360 Express 2008-12

It could be. I have no idea where it went but if you go look at it and send me some pics I’ll be able to tell you. Pursuit makes a good boat just like Grady. I‘ve always liked the Grady’s better. The 360 is an absolute beast and mine ran great with just trip 250’s. I have never seen a...

What is clear film peeling on hull?

Is your hull smooth? That looks like some kind of tape…..Shrink wrap actually….It has threads (Not real threads, but strands). Hard to tell from the pic. Is the hull smooth where you peel it off? That doesn’t look like gelcoat.

Port of Egypt Marine, Inc. (631-765-2445)

My family and I have been dealing with POE and the Leiblein family since the mid 70’s. 14 GW’s and a bunch of fun later and the place just keeps getting better and better! Mike and the POE team are a true, down to earth, honest marina who loves what they do and makes sure their customers get...

    GW 307 Freedom Head Operation

I’m 99% sure it is seawater. Easy way to tell: Check your seacocks. If one is labeled “Head” it is seawater. It must be open to use the head (And flush). There will most likely be another one that says “Head Discharge”. That is to pump overboard using the macerated where legal. You don’t...

    Survey for 2003 330 Express

The bang plate is the aluminum cap on the top of the transom between the engines and the fiberglass. That boat will cruise at 30 MPH at 4500 RPM all day long in real world conditions. Expect 1.1-1.2 MPG. That is a properly running boat with a clean bottom and the correct (stock) props.

    Engine woes...

I hear you…But, if you did that ;last august and ran the engines dry last week then you should check to make sure the separators are primed. don’t be fooled by some gas in the fuel bowl. I still think there is crud in one of the filters but if the separator isn’t full the engine won’t run.

    Engine woes...

You mentioned you replaced both water separators. Pull the one for the engine that is not starting and validate is is filled with fuel. If it is not, fill it with fuel and re-install. Then try cranking the engine..

    Engine woes...

A couple of questions: 1. Is your set-up oil - injected or do you mix gas/oil in the tank? (I assume oil-injected). 2. Have you checked to make sure your water separators are full of fuel? If you haven’t pulled your fuel filters on the engine and emptied them to make sure there is no crud in...

    Engine woes...

Since both engines were running and more than once it would be a coincidence for a spark problem to have developed. It could happen but….. Assume the lanyard was in properly and the kill switch is working as it should No wires damaged when you were pulling fuel lines No wires damaged when...

    Engine woes...

    1. Connect a 6 gallon external tank with it’s own fuel ball/hose directly to your engines - one at a time and run them. If problem persists you have an issue with either filters or fuel pumps under the cowling. No problem running them then: 2. Change your water separators. Problem persists...

    330 or 360 express?

It depends on what power you have but a 360 of that vintage will most likely have trip 250’s on it. It will get somewhere between .7 and .8 MPG burning 38-41 GPH at 4500 RPM and 30 MPH. Real world and load doesn’t matter in that boat. My 330 got 1.2 MPG.

    330 or 360 express?

I owned both. A 2003 330 and a 2006 360. The 360 is like a 330 on steroids. It is just bigger and more comfortable in every way. It is also more expensive to run and maintain - significantly. The 330 will sleep 4 easily. The 360 will sleep 4 comfortably and even 5 comfortably. The 360...

    Fisherman 257 engine 2 won’t start

Check to see if both engines are getting their starting power from battery 1(Put BOTH switches to 1 and see if both engines start). Generally this is not how GW wires them. Usually 1 battery is for one engine and house (Electronics, lights, etc), and the other is for one engine only. This...

    306 Canyon

Generally a switch like that is used to cut power to all electronics and it may be used with an in-line power conditioner. It should shout off the transducer black box (If equipped) as well. it helps protect against surges and is also helpful if you want to reduce total draw on the batteries...

Talk to me about the wings on a Canyon, specifically the 271

Wings are ok but you can get custom canvas made that will enclose the entire helm and roll up when you want it out of the way. With that set-up fully employed it’s like being in a pilot house. I’ve seen it on a 271, 306, and 336 and it’s sweet. win gs really help but wont get you all the way...

    What could Grady do better?

I think the hardtop depends on the model. I had a canister raft on my 33 and my 36. The 33 I only had 3 years and the 36 I had 11. No issues. I installed them correctly, sealed them, correctly, hardtop was like new on both boats when I got rid of them. Poor install will ruin anything...

Considering Grady White...would like some feedback

I’ve had 14 GW’s in my family so obviously I’m a fan. My current boat is a 306 canyon (2020 w/twin 300’s) and I have had the same hull in a 2000 Marlin (W/A). It’s a great hull and, like most GW’s it is “Big” for it’s size. Like ANY boat, run at high speed or improperly trimmed will degrade...
