I just spoke with my marina where all the work was done. They said its not unusual to have a bit of condensation on the fuel tank, under the fuel tank or in any of the access plates. They said that fiberglass and fuel tanks tend to perspire with cool nights and warmer days...

so to get at the plug that separates the fuel tank area and the bilge...how do I locate? Is it difficult to take out/put back in? Or is there another way to get the water out?

I went back last night to check it out again. I think it’s rain water...not coming from the anchor locker. I think it’s coming from the access panels, literally only in like a 3x3 little puddle. Everything else was dry as a bone. As far as the bilge area, the bilge didn’t have any more excess...

My old 180 listed to port at rest. it also had prop torque that made is list to port when under way. I didnt have excessive moister but had a battery, 2stroke oil well and swim ladder on the same side. Can you give us some more detail? pictures? did you have a survey done before purchasing...

Any news on the transom from the glass shop?

Will you be documenting the process when your boat gets to the fiberglass shop? I am eager to see what it is like, what kinds of decisions are to be made & if your situation could be a good reference point for others with potential similar transom concerns.

I myself will also send tight lines and best wishes your way. Hopefully the transom inst as bad as thought to be. Hopefully it is just the spots you are concerned about and a new bang cap that need replacing.

Did you make it to Bayside today? What did it look like with the motors off?

I just got on in June of 2020. Aside from the transom...check the decks for excess moisture and make sure the engine is in good shape! love the boat!
