A heat gun and pulled it off. Then took 3M adhesive remover and the hard stuff I used an eraser wheel.

Yes (last photo) Thanks. It’s actually gelcoat. The coosa has three coats of glass on each side so the bottom has the gel coat to protect it from the bottom. It’s the way the glass shop recommended and wanted to do it. They do a lot of these. I hope it’ll be good.

Decking over the tank was in terrible shape. Very soft and really lucky no one fell through. Used Coosa, going back together early this next week. The white painted photo is the bottom of the cover.

I had my transom inspected and a new bang plate resealed and installed Before hanging a new engine. I suggest anyone with the aluminum crap to do the same, I can see how ugly things could get if not caught earl.

RUN don’t walk away from this unless you cut the price in 1/2. I bought a boat that was “turn key” solid hull and decks and the guy either lied and screwed me or is completely oblivious, I’m spending $5k on glass work on new decking. Wait for the right boat or buy the wrong boat at the right price.
