New tank covers

Decking over the tank was in terrible shape. Very soft and really lucky no one fell through. Used Coosa, going back together early this next week. The white painted photo is the bottom of the cover.

Great photos! When you refer to the white painted photo are you talking about the last picture? Did you paint the backside of the deck lid skin where the Coosa will be epoxied in?
If so, you might be asking for trouble if that paint weakens the bond.

Yes (last photo) Thanks. It’s actually gelcoat. The coosa has three coats of glass on each side so the bottom has the gel coat to protect it from the bottom. It’s the way the glass shop recommended and wanted to do it. They do a lot of these. I hope it’ll be good.

Tank covers are back in and GE silicone (in Grady White/beige) sealing them in, 300 Suzuki goes on Next week.
