got mine from garzon studios. cant comment on quality though as i havn't put them on yet. they have a pretty extensive selection. i will mention, their "navy blue" is nearly black.

i prefer boats without bottom paint. however, i wouldn't expect to pay less for a boat with it except if it was a crappy job and took away from the asthetics. and i've never really noticed people shunning affected boats.

i'm up to speed on the cost of boating, this is my 4th. hard to get excited about paying for something like bottom paint though. maybe i havn't shopped around enough but it looks to be several hundred dollars even as a DIY.

I just bought an overnighter with shoddy bottom paint (i believe it is ablative). I don't moor the boat but dont have the patience to remove it. Is there some kind of paint i can put on there that isn't so expensive? Can i just paint over the existing paint? They used blue which looks terrible...

thanks. i can deal with the streaks for now im more concerned about whether this can get water intrusion or not? I haven't seen whats underneath the rub rails and they look nice so id rather not pull them unless necessary. Thanks again.
