I add a little Clorox to my freshwater tank every spring and flush it after leaving it for a while. I then refill the tank with freshwater and empty it. Clean the filter and put some fresh water in. You should be good after that.

I treat it exactly as the rest of the gel coated surfaces. Polish with Finesse It and seal with Collinite wax. Creates a great shine that lasts for months. Surface is still not slippery after this process.

The rubber trim that separates the gunwale and the midship fish boxes on my 228 has come loose. I'm not sure what type of adhesive is used to reattach this trim. Has anyone else done this repair and if so what did they use?
