I run a pair of Revolution 4 blades 15 1/4 x 17 on my Express 265 w/ F225’s. They are so so much better than the 3 blades. Fuel economy is minimal was 1.6, now 1.8 miles/gal. But the hole shot and midrange is beautiful and boat is 3 miles faster top end!
The 2004 F225’s are heavier than 4.2 F300. You have the 2003 hull, which made for the 4 stroke. Why not hang couple of F250 - F300’s as they are still lighter than what you have now.
Of course, it’s a good business model…if you ever need to replacement one of the engines or new lower unit , crown, trim mount. Grady White will glad to sale you more custom parts to match.
Took these pictures 6/24 Hood Canal, Wa. The owner forgot the transom’s plug after dropping her off the night before to get ready for a shrimping trip. A reminder to all to plug before towing, don’t wait until you get to the dock.
Agree, she definitely under power with 7 people and all the weight in the cockpit or stern. You will never get her on plane. Shift people to the bow to get the boat on plane before redistribute the weight.

Just converted my 2003 265 over to Jabsco pump. Was planning to add a y valve but I had to pulled the Groco pump out because the 2 of the 3 bolts holding the pump to the top of the tank rusted off sometimes ago which leave two small holes on top of the plate and leaked air..explained the...
In the Seattle area. Suzuki isn’t economically option anymore. My last quote for Zuki DF300 was $24k a piece, so it’s very comparable to 250hp Yamaha and Honda. Take your pick.
I use Vulcan 12 kg (33 lbs) on my 2003 265 Express. It is a solid anchor. I modified the pulpit and fit the anchor inside so it doesn’t stick out too far. Hope this helps!
