225 is a great boat. It is positively HUGE compared to other brands of 22 footers. Last year at the Baltimore boat show they had a Robalo 22something nearby the Grady 225. No comparision. As to new vs used, only you can make that call. If you can afford $85k... why not? But you could save...

Everytime I fill my boat, I get a big bubble of fuel blurp up and run out of the fuel fill. Usually right as the pump kicks off- blurrrrrp! Fuel everywhere. I even tried slowing the pump to the lowest setting as the tank was getting full.

My boat came with gunnel mounted outriggers that the previous owner had installed. I'm not sure of the brand. I'll snap some pics the next time I get to my boat.

There's no way your truck weighs 3,314 pounds. You should tow just fine. I pulled my 226 with a v8 4runner (rated for 7,300 lbs), my wife's Diesel VW touareg (rated 7,700 lbs), but I sold the 4runner for a Ford F250 and that "gets 'er done" even better.

You should go with the GPS one. Then it always has the coordinates on the display. Nice for guests. When I get new people on my boat- I give them a 30 second safety talk (locations of the fire extinguisher, first aid kit, flare kit) then mention the DSC button and show them where the GPS...

That terminal block is a great idea. I can't tell you how difficult it was trying to twist those 22 gauge wires to find what arrangement would work with my setup, then trying to inline crimp connector them! Next time, terminal block!
