I have a 98 Marlin. I keep it in a marina about 6 months a year, then trailer it home and she stays in my yard the other 6. Great boat!! I pull her with a Dodge 2500 diesel. Its slow going, and always makes me pucker up, but I get there!

    Power Assist on a 2007 Sailfish 282?

I have a Marlin with hydraulic steering. We replaced the helm pump last year and it steers super easy. I can turn hard over to hard over with 1 finger. Not sure if power steering could do much more.

    yamaha 704 shifter question

I disconnected each motor, and both shift freely. The throttle cables are working correctly, but both f/r are very tight. I did not remove the cables, I just unbolted the binnacle mounts, and lifted the shifter assembly up to access the bolts that hold on the arms .thanks
