    Express Console Lifter Ram

Hmmm. Now I am wondering whether the relay box ever existed and whether the ram was simply reversed through the console switch like Kirk has mentioned. I inherited the boat with the hatch lifter not working. Just about to start a complete refit.

    Express Console Lifter Ram

Hi All, Can anyone with an express lift up electronics console confirm that the hatch lifter also requires the 12V relay box with it ro function up and down? Also wondering if by applying power direct to the ram it will drive up/down. Thanks again for any responses.

    Express 330 Rub Rail

You would be surprised unfortunately to know that a lot of products that are main stream in the States are difficult to get a hold of in Aus.

    Express 330 Rub Rail

Thanks everybody for your replies. It’s not the original Grady rub rail but I am considering the Taco Suproflex V11-9990 - doesn’t have a screw in middle insert but will be easier to ship to Australia.

    Express 330 Rub Rail

Hi All, I am based in Australia and about to start a refit on a 2002 330 Express. We previously had a 2007 Marlin and I preferred the rub rail with screwed chrome insert that it had. Would anyone know the supplier and part number of that product? If no luck I will go to Grady direct. Thanks...

    Marlin 300 - Trim Tab/Plane Replacement

Just to clarify. The front section is still attached to the underside of the hull. It is the rear section from the hinge point back which has been lost. It has detached and the ram still in tact. 2 x tabs in 12 months isn’t isolated and I don’t read of inherent problems. As mentioned we have had...

    Marlin 300 - Trim Tab/Plane Replacement

This is a 2007 Marlin 300, we are based in Brisbane, Australia. When we lost one plane 12 months ago I replaced both. We predominantly gamefish for Marlin and therefore reversed is utilised while fighting fish. I am aware of trimming motor up etc. there are boats with them mounted completely...

    Marlin 300 - Trim Tab/Plane Replacement

Hi All, Would love some advice. Have today noticed I have lost a second trim tab in just 12 months. Previously the entire tab was ripped off this time just the rear section only. It looks as if the bolts have somehow come undone. I am hoping they were installed correctly as under pressure I was...

I am in Brisbane, Australia. We have a 2007 Marlin 300 with Suzuki 300AP’s. We played around with engine height and propellors. Ended up at factory mounting height and solar Lexor plus propellors with some slight cupping added - 16x17 Top speed 40knots at 6000/6100 RPM

    Props for Marlin

Hi all, I have some further figures re Marlin 300 with twin Suzuki 300’s. We have raised our engines one hole and are now pulling 5800-5900 RPM at 40-41 knots. Fuel burn was around 185 litres per hour. Cruise at 4000rpm was 26-27 knots at 72-73 litres per hour. We have full side curtains...

    Props for Marlin

To add to the above we are running twin 300 Suzukis on a Marlin 300. We have Suzuki 3/16/18.5 props pulling 5500RPM at 39 knots. We will be trying 17’s in an effort to pull more RPM. At the moment there is zero slip either coming on plane or in a high speed turn.
