OFFSHORE 24 SEATS TOO LOW/ BAD VISABILITY

Or you can do what we did and replace the posts with 12 inch. It works great for us on the Marlin as we wanted to be higher up for better visibility. See the posts and pictures by Ifish.

300 marlin hardtop and cockpit measurements

I have a similar setup for my 07 Marlin. What I had done was put an aluminum runner under the aft part of the hard top which the sun cover slides into and goes back to two 6 foot aluminum poles in the aft rod holders. I could give you the measurements of the sunbrella cover if that would help...

I have a 2007 Marlin with twin Yamaha F250s. Best long range cruise is 30mph at 4100 RPM. I burn about 21 gallons per hour at that cruise speed. Not sure what the older models burn. Before I bought the Marlin I had a "97 27 Sailfish with twin 200 2 strokes. Fuel burn was the same as the...

    Marlin boat lift

I had mine on a 14,000 lb boat lift. I tried the 10K as my Sailfish was fine on it but the 10K lift was pretty shaky with the Marlin on it. I would not recommend a 10K lift with the Marlin based on my experiences.

    Big problems '99 Sailfish Motors

I would start by cleaning and checking all your battery connections and in particular the ground connections. It may be just that simple. Also if you have a volt meter check to see if you are getting 12 volts to the starter. Good luck.
