    Seafarer rod holder replacements

I have a 2003 Seafarer and the rod holders (aft) on the fish box are in need of replacement. I do not want the pure white holders but would prefer the original colour (off white). Does anyone know where I can purchase 4 of these tubes? Thanks. Dwain

Taco top mount outrigger for a 228 hardtop configuration

I have an 03 seafarer and have the Grand Slams. No problem, they work great. The only thing is to be careful when installing, make sure you use the plate for the underneath and measure properly. I wish I had moved the Grand Slams about one inch further from the back of the hardtop. The reason is...

    dealer list

I looked for my 228 in Yacht World, Boat Trader etc etc. and then finally used the Grady site. I did go through all the dealers for my used Grady which I found in Walker Minnesota. There are quite a few Grady dealers that do not advertise on the larger sites. I purchased through Resort Marine...

    Windlass on a 228 Seafarer

When I purchased my 228 I had the dealer install the windlass. They had to remove the bow lift ring. I know they were in contact with Grady prior to. I do have a bow pulpit. I cannot see why you have to get into heavy fiberglass repairs.

    Considering outriggers....looking for suggestions

I have a 228 Seafarer with hardtop and mounted the Taco Grand Slams. Make certain you use the backing plates and seal the holes. I siliconed around them as well. Works great. The rods are telescoping. I fish the Great Lakes and depending on the weather (waves) like to travel with the rods not...

    Honda 225 pee hole question

Good day mate: When I purchased my Grady, the previous owner did not want the Yamaha that would have come with the boat and special ordered the Honda 225HP. Boat and motor are both 2003. The motor is extremely quiet and appears to be good on fuel. Most of my fishing is trolling for salmon...

    Honda 225 pee hole question

I posted this question on another site, but have not heard back from anyone. My last fishing trip there was no water coming out of the pee hole. Someone mentioned mentioned to run heavy mono from a weed wacker up the pee hole. The mono went up about 12 inches, should it have gone more. If I...

    Where do I put where?????

Hi Tony: When I purchased my 228 the previous owner had the Nav Net system up in the hardtop electronics box as well as the VHF. I will tell you that after 8 hours of fishing your neck gets extremely sore. I think the VHF and radio etc is okay up top but when it comes to the other electronics I...
