    I'm looking at getting a wireless tether switch for my boat, I know its not good practice to step away from the helm while the boat is in motion, but occasionally happens for one reason or another. So I was wondering if anyone else haves one and different options, there is on this type of item.

    my boat was hardtopless when I bought it, loved the boat and added the hardtop later, and added a glass windshield. There are many good custom hardtop builders out there. Not sure where you live but shop around and you'll find someone.

    Starboard, marine plywood or ?

    I would use a good marine grade ply. I use starboard on a few thing and it tough stuff, but ending up cracking and splitting from the screw holes. But it might work great in that fabrication,as long as you don't pound on your boat offshore. post some pictures , be nice to see what you do.

    whats the pump look like? if it doesn't work at all the pump might have stuff stuck in it. have you try hitting it with a water hose to see if the water cleans out the stoppage? I have a older boat, but my pump just snaps out with two plastic clips, and then the hose and wire have to be...

    I just picked up a in hull transducer , have you looked at them. Mounts inside the boat. Many advantages , nothing to hook lines and stuff on. No holes. Mounts from the inside. Just an thought .

    Tips for trailering Marlin

    I have the same trouble with my sailfish, I've try cranking it as tight as I could, go super slow up the ramp. Even had the weld break on the trailer post, trying to crank it on after it on land, so whatever I do it moves. I have a bunk trailer so once it on the trailer it will not move at all...

    Bimini to Hard Top ?

    I would talk to people around your area, there are custom shops that do great work,I have a custom top, and then added a custom full windshield on my boat, love it. what area do you boat. hear in Maine, it cold most of the time, nice to be closed in, and that plastic glass suck to look out allday.

    2 stroke oil

    I use the wal-mart oil was 12 bucks a gallon for the pass 15 or so years, never had any troubles, but I only use marine fuel ,additive for stal-bil and ringfree sometimes.
