I agree with Parthery....it seems a bit high.....the thing that would scare me is the "it sat for a year" part....you know that thing could easily start on the hose in the driveway and run like a champ.....BUT as soon as you put a load on it it could sputter and fall on it's face...carb issues =...

Have the same boat with a 200....you're going to be asking a lot from a 150....have you had a leak down test?

I just purchased a 208 Grady-White year 2003 with a 200 Yamaha four stroke....love the boat so far....seems battleship tough and very roomy....for a twenty footer....anything I should know about this boat from veteran owners would be appreciated.... :mrgreen:

Are you going to: inspect battery and clean terminals condition fuel replace fuel filters replace spark plugs change engine oil and oil filter TNT inspection and greasing inspect wire connections inspect zincs inspect throttle linkage grease the 6 or 7 grease fittings change gear oil re-tighten...

Yamaha would like you to check them and clean at 10hrs, 50hrs and replace at 100hrs.

I've heard it's not the amount of time on the motor it's the amount of fuel burned through the motor...that will give you a better feel for how much time you have left...you could have 1000 hours trolling or 1000 hours running 5500 RPM which motor would you like to buy used? :hmm
