    Marlin Lists to Starboard

They must have made some changes that distributed weight differently between 2002 and my 2005... the only changes I'm aware of between those years were mostly cosmetic. I'm definitely not seeing the problem you are seeing. Yes... there is weight on the starboard side for rigging, cables etc. But...

    Grady 33 Express Questions

Wow Bob... thanks for the offer to help with a design change. I never thought of that. I'll bet there is room for short a walk way in the center... I know it's open to the left and right but don't know how far in. There may be some sort of center line support down the middle to handle at least...

    Grady 33 Express Questions

Thanks George... I did talk with Gradynorm earlier in the year... he was actually looking into taking my Marlin on trade but the banks appraisal killed everything... they use the lowest book value and not market value. If I sell my Marlin, which I am trying t do, I will be back in touch with him.

    Marlin Lists to Starboard

Does it list only when the motors are raised? If so if you have your motors turned to starboard the weight of those four strokes will cause a slight list on the starboard side and visa versa.

    Grady 33 Express Questions

Thanks for the great input guys.... I'm focusing my search on 2005-2007 with F250's. The 2008's are really really nice but that year the price jumps considerably. The 33's aren't as readily available as you would think in this economy. Giorgos... if you were selling your 33' Exp today I would be...

    Grady 33 Express Questions

Some of you know I have my Marlin up forsale and have been looking for a boat with an island berth to make it easier for my wife to get in and out of... we try to spend most weekends on the boat and with her hip and knee problems it is difficult for her to get in and out of the Marlin berth. My...

    Marlin or Sailfish?

If money isn't a problem then get the Marlin. I have owned both just like Megabytes and am extremely happy with the Marlin. It is a much bigger boat in everyway and has plenty of storage in the mid-berth which is more than double what you get in the Sailfish. The helm area is much roomier and so...

My freshwater pump keeps going buuuurrrrrrpp!

yup... loose hose clamps. I've had one pop off under the galley sink and another one under the head sink. The head sink gave me a pre-warning by doing exactly as you stated.

WOW... you guys are having a great season. Congrats!!! I need to switch marinas... it's a 60mi+- run for me just to round Montauk Pt. I don't mind the time but it adds a lot to the cost.

    282 Head Solution

Just a guess... maybe the seals in your manual pump need a cleaning or replacement.

I FOUND THE "WATER IN FORWARD BILGE " PROBLEM !!

Still doesn't sound like the tank gasket will fix your problem... your tank shouldn't be filling up to begin with. If it is coming in the way you think then you should see water flowing through your toilet. Check the toilet pump seals. The seals in the toilet pumping mechanism should prevent...

F250 seems to be have a lot of play left to right.

Not sure I understand... when you say "mounting bracket/rod bushing" are you talking about the steering linkage?

    Air Condition

I think my a/c water pump is just below the water line... each year for winterization I drain all my lines and I always end up with air in the pump. To reprime it(when boat is in the water, I just remove the output line from the pump... open the raw water inlet valve until water starts to flow...

    A Grady-White lemon?

I can think of two defects: 1) when the 33 express first came out the hull had some flex in it and 2) the newer hard shell roof liners in the cabins have a tendency to crack in the northeast. In both cases Grady stood behind their product and fixed the problems... no questions asked. As a matter...
