    Seafarer v. Overnighter

I, personally would lean towards the Seafarer with a bracketed outboard.Lots of room for a 22 and a nice transom...... Lots of things to consider with an I/O especially up north. Winterization, risers, manifolds if you are looking at 10-12 year old boats are a few things that come to mind...

You can contact Danny Davis or one of the other customer service reps @ Grady White and they will fax or e-mail you the blue prints for your tank/tanks. This is what I did when I built new tanks for my 24...... Grady-White (252) 752-2111

    Trim Tab size on Offshore?

Not quite sure by about what you are calling the "chord" . It just seems like a long plane (24") to be supported in the middle with one hydraulic cylinder. I have no doubt as to whether or not the cylinder will push it. I'm sure it will. How thick are your tabs? Most are about 1/8" thick. It...

    Trim Tab size on Offshore?

When I had my 87 Offshore It had 9x12 Bennetts. It was a twin engine with a Grady drive. I took the tabs off and made 12x12 tabs. Wish I had taken pics . Those 12x12's would bury the nose, but more importantly I could hold plane down to around 15 knots instead of 18 knots with the 9x12's.

    1982 Tarpon 19

Not familiar with the tarpon. I/O or outboard ? were the mounting holes for motor or outdrive sealed someway ? How long open if not. Heck even duct tape over them better than nothing. If they have been open to the elements for a few years most likely water in the transom.

    looking for a thread

I've been searching for a thread on GG that deals with changing over the head pump out. The author changed over from the in tank model to a macerator pump for pump outs. Can anyone remember this thread? I need to change out my holding tank pump and want to use "his" style with a standard...

My 282 (01'model) Is front at 150 and rear (aux) is at 70 . I believe that the aux. was changed back to 52 due to weight of 4 strokes. Thats what I was told by those in the know. As for the OP's ? 202 gallons...

anyone add freshwater tank to 86 offshore 24?

The 8.5 gallon freshwater tank was located all the way aft , behind the 55 gallon fuel tank in my 87 Offshore. The spigot was located on the port side just in front of the coaming pad.

    Grady White 248 Voyager

300 HP max I believe. Twin 130 v4's are a good combination on that hull. fairly fuel efficient and good power. those are some good motors too . Change all the bolt on stuff, water pumps,t-stats,spark plugs, lower unit grease ,and fuel filters. And use some fresh gas. As for having been dry...

    Raleigh Boat Show 2013

Headed down on sun. I've noticed the DC 's becoming more popular. Don't know why unless you are on a lake and doing the skiing thing. Different strokes for different folks I guess. Probably "Momma" likes the DC better with a head, and alot of "open space" for lounging.....

    deadrise

I believe the 22 Seafarer from that vintage is a straight 20 degree boat. meaning twenty at the front and all the way to the transom.

    204 fuel tank removal

Do you have the deck panel removed ? If so you should just be able to unhook the fill and vent lines and use these as "Handles". There should be some wedges along side the tank and a couple of 2x4's over the top of the tank , These will screwed into the stringers at a 45* angle or so .You could...
