272 I had the same boat and year with the Johnson 225's. It appears like a really good price for a 96 272. I doubt you will see one for less money. I assume you will get a survey or at the very least have a mechanic check out the motors. Good boat and good luck.

GPS I just purchased a back up unite for my Marlin, the Standard Horizon 300 which is a 7" machine from West Marine. They had it listed for $899 but I found it on line for $689, called West Marine and they matched the price. I havent installed yet, soon as weather breaks.

Zincs I have never had zincs on my last tabs on my last 3 Grady's and never had any issues. My Marlin is a 1997 and the tabs are perfect.

Downriggers If you are looking to buy used i have 2 Penn Fathom masters, 4 footers with Rod holder mounts and weights if intertesetd. They are in great shape, i have no need for them in NY. All you need to buy is the mounting plates or swivel mounts. I will seperate if you only want one.

sshrink wrap I think you are getting hosed on that shrink wrap price. I pay $6.50 a foot here in NY but on average $9 or $10 a foot should be moer like it. Shop around for other prices. Covers are nice but they do get expensive.

ac I dont rember exactly the last price quote but I think it was around $3,800 installed for a 7K BTU unit. There was a guy in Central Islip that wanted to sell be all the equipment and have me do the install. That was around $2,000 but i didnt want to install myself.
